How do I repair Screw damage - Oven retaining screws
I have to replace my built in oven and having removed it I have found the retaining screws were never screwed in straight by the installer and hence have gone through the inside wall of the housing and minced up the chipboard each side. I guess this is not an uncommon issue. I was going to pull out all the loose stuff and refill with 2 pack ronseal woodfill then drill it for the replacement units screws. Has anyone got any better ideas they could share. Thanks

Screws need to be at an angle, otherwise you end up going through the wood......put them in at a slight angle, pointing into the wood ......or up !
Two pack is fine, then paint over !
