I have just finished making these gates over the last couple of days. now I am praying for some good weather to get them fitted.

Lovely job mailee and I hope you can finish them in spite of the bad weather; are you going to finish them before hanging then you can do this indoors out of the rain? What finish are you going to use? Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

No Col, the customer is going to put the finish on. I have given them two coats of a clear preservative as I do for all of my outdoor work, but I think the customer is going to colour them a bit darker like the old gates I am removing.

What sort of hinges will you be using on them?

Thanks Chop, I shall be using large band hinges for these.
