Boiler housing and surrounding units Hight problem.

Hello. I'm in the process of fitting my new kitchen.
This is the design..


The problem I have is that the gap from the worktop to the bottom of the unit next to the boiler unit will be approx 720mm. This seems quite high even though I'm 6ft2.
I can't position the boiler unit any lower as I have sockets underneath the boiler unit.
Any ideas of what I could do.
I could probably take the boiler unit higher up to the ceiling but then the tops of the surrounding units will be lower and will not look aesthetically pleasing.

I only just had them fitted they all line up around the u-shape of the kitchen.

Box above the cabinet to the ceiling with MDF then run the cornice around it to match the existing??

Yup all wired in and working.
The taped up wire is for Under cabinet lighting.

I don't have Any cornice on the celing don't know why it's in the picture of the kitchen plan.

You're running out of options then manny,can you not box the boiler in from the bottom of the worktop to the ceiling then with the same materials as the kitchen? Use some end panels and buy an extra door and create a cupboard.

I wish I could but then the sockets below will get boxed in aswell.
I'm going to bring the housing down just above the sockets and then see what gap I'm left with (worktop to bottom of wall unit) with the surrounding wall units.

I am in bed ill so my brain is a little fried but I am confused.

Can you not lower the rest of the wall cupboards to the level of the boiler cupboard? Or is this the problem you don't want the boiler cupboard higher at the top than the rest? Could the boiler cupboard have a section removed from the middle of it to reduce its top height?

We have just fitted a kitchen (well almost) and our boiler cupboard is in the corner like yours but it is deeper not higher. Now yes you can just see the flue but we minimised this by cornice/pelmet (?) along the top. I did have to remove a lot of the cupboard and strengthen it for this to work.

Unfortunately not as then they will be above the free standing range cooker.

Yeh that's the problem. I think it will look a bit funny if the boiler cupboard was higher up.

This will mean I will have to cut down the gloss door and reposition the hinges etc etc. lol this is my first attempt at a kitchen fit. Seems like a lot of work. I might mess it up.

I am only on my second kitchen so I cannot really answer if it would be funny looking. For me I am 5 foot 6 so I would have to do it so we that could reach the cupboards. I would try and get the company who helped design ours show the design with the boiler higher at the top. Also maybe others on here could give you their opinion on if they have done it before and if they made it look better somehow.
