This is more for information than anything else.
Problem.
How to copy music from an ipod to computer, so you can put it on another ipod.
I tried the "upload from ipod" option, but if it did or did not copy I do not know as the ipod didn't seem to do much a similar thing with itunes, if anything was copied, no idea where it went.
If you connect the ipod to a computer without running or having itunes the ipod shows up as a camera, that's it, no files no music.
After several hours of trying various options and "free" software (That isn't free to actually use) I found
THIS it seems very easy to use, but it will not (yet) work on a mac, so since I was using a mac I copied and pasted into the itunes library then arranged to my choice.
