Printing money.....
After victory in the old firm game,Celtic think they are world beaters.
However they face barca tonight and for any of you guys who like a flutter the odds of 4-11 for barca to be winning at half time and full time are generous to say the least!!
Easy money guys, ceptic have no chance!!
Oh and for anyone crazy enough to back ceptic they are 33-1 for the victory

Re: Printing money.....
I’m not sure why you think we consider ourselves as world beaters. Just because we beat a third rate team last Saturday doesn’t exactly test ourselves.
We faced a team with probably the best trio strike force since Man Utd’s ‘Holy trinity’. The score line was disappointing but we have lots of players with no champs league experience plus we were playing a team that cost in excess of 300m.
At least there were no arrests and their toilets remained intact.
We know our place in this world perhaps Rangers fans should do the same which would be under our boot heel for the considerable future

Re: Printing money.....
Scottish premier league football is the equivalent of English 2nd league.

Re: Printing money.....
The fans celebrated like they had won the league on Saturday tho so I'm confused.....lets see if yous can fill the glitterdome against another 3rd rate team in the league with 60 thousand fans and we will see if the hysteria continues after the match as well.Argyll wrote:I’m not sure why you think we consider ourselves as world beaters. Says who? You?The fans celebrated like they had won the league on Saturday tho so I'm confused.
Celtic earned 7m from the game last night. That's 1m a goal. Sevco's whole team cost a tenth of that

Re: Printing money.....
Sadly I think you're correct KE. It's all down to Rangers 1872 being liquidated and losing the league money. With Rangers being liquidated our league got even worse and was vastly underfunded for four years. It'll take years for everyone to get back on their feet to at least put up a fight in European football.kellys_eye wrote:Scottish premier league football is the equivalent of English 2nd league.

The ironic thing about it they claim breaking tax rules and cheating was somehow not their fault. I'd be sympathetic to them if they put their hands up and said 'sorry' but they have no shame. People went out of business because they were liquidated and they haven't even accepted their wrong doings. Imagine how people on here would feel if they weren't paid for jobs and subsequently went under. But then the business opened up the following day claiming they're a new business and you'll get diddly squat.
I really feel sorry for those business's. It must be so infuriating.

Re: Printing money.....
Rangers being back in the spl has saved Scottish football.....fact.
Scottish football needs Celtic AND rangers.....fact.
If you watched the game on Saturday and won't accept it was an old firm game with well over 100 years of history then you are in denial.
Rangers are the same football club they were over 100 years ago, still have the history, the titles(world record btw) Fifa, uefa and everybody else knows this apart from a tiny percentage of obsessed ceptic fans.
