I was fitting a new glass door to the outside. The door was not quite latching properly. So thought I could wedge the glass up a bit more (diagonal system).
Well the large blade I was using to lever the glass up was a little too hard.
Hint toughened glass is very tough, just never nick the edge :(

You could mix the pieces in some pebble-dash to add sparkle to a wall on moonlit nights...

Was it a plastic glazing paddle you were using? I've never had a toughened panel shatter when heel and toeing. Had plenty smash by knocking the edge off a wall tho

Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

Re: Bang goes the toughened glass
It's weird stuff toughened glass. Strong on the face, weak on the edge.
OT a bit, but I had an idiot overtake another car coming towards me the other day, he swerved into a cross hatched area (solid line there I think) full of road debris, and there was a hell of a bang as he went past. Rear side window got a good dink in the surface, but didn't break.
I hope he gets multiple punctures!
