HI From Andy The Handyman

HI All

I am currently starting up a new Handyman business in my Town, Keswick in the lake district. My venture started back 3 years ago when I decided to give up the Alcohol and looked to replace the gap that was left. I have always been a bit of a handyman dablling in a few things. My first project was some custom shelved to fit a random corner in my flat i then progressed to a custom fitted wardrobe then a bed for my son. Then Keswick was flooded in 2015 it shock the town as it thrives on its tourism and as i had a van i decided to help out offering free Man with a Van services. This then took off as a part time business and the enjoyment of helping people out was so much rewarding than my current job. When helping move things about I started building up my Tool box for taking beds apart etc. I was getting asked by people if i could also fit certain items like washing machines and even construct flat pack items. This has now grown as a Part time business and its paying for its way and I looking at expanding to a full time business hopefully within a year. With being called and people just naturally called me Handy Andy so i thought of the name ANDIY for my company name which seams to work. Things are happening but it is slow as its hard to devote full time as i have a full time work and Kids on top of all of this.
