Newbie embarking on a first time renovation!

Hello all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself - I'm a newbie from Harrow/NW London - been living in newbuild apartments the last 10 years but am now in the process of buying a detached 1967 house in Pinner (pic attached), and it needs updating and we'd also like to knock through a couple of walls.
I've never done this before but am keen to attempt to get the work done within 10-12 weeks by way of getting individual trades involved rather than handing the job to a design-build type place.
Standard stuff we'd like to do:
1. Strip the interior
2. Knock through a couple of walls, block up a couple of doorways (building regs permitting)
3. New Flat Roofs and Guttering
4. New windows
5. Remove wallpaper and skim/replaster where needed
6. Get new power points chased in, incl wiring for spotlights
7. New plumbing/heating/boiler
8. new kitchens and bathrooms
7. Paint whole house
8. Move in
I've probably got the sequence wrong and i'm prob being naive about doing all of this first time with no experience. Wish me luck and expect several questions!
Thanks!
