Hi all,

First time joining a DIY forum. My girlfriend and I managed to get enough money together to get a house for us and my step daughter last year - it's constantly giving me new challenges. So far I've had woodworm, dampness, mold, bad condensation and electrical failures. My main issue and something I think will be written on my grave stone is rats. I'm a bit of an introvert so calling for help is always difficult but having never had any of these issues growing up, its been a test of character - whether Ive passed or not i dont know. All advice and help appreciated - hope i can help out a bit as well.
