Hi I’m not sure if I’m posting in the right section but I would like some advice.

I’m planning on rennovating my bathroom and came across a product called dumawall plus.

They are large plastic tiles with tongue and grooves. The only other plastic tile wall coverings are large panels (2600mm x 250mm) which just have a tile effect and I’m not sure how good they would look up.

Each dumawall panel is 650mm x 375mm and is just the one panel so I’m thinking it will look a lot better than the larger panels.

The thing is, they are pretty expensive. The cheapest I’ve found them is for £33 per metre. A lot more than the other panels.

Can anyone recommend an alternative that is the individual tiles? Or maybe someone knows where I can get the dumawall for cheaper?

I’ve included a couple of photos to show what they are.

Thanks in advance.

Reading your post when first made I was not sufficiently knowledgable to reply, but thought "that's interesting" so looked at the manufacturers website & ordered some samples.

Get 10% Off by using the Voucher Code PDWF18.

However, the product is not for me (a) the pattern is printed on to flat board and has no texture whatsoever (b) one of my samples arrived scratched, telling me it's not going to be very hardwearing. Anything made of plastic is going to be soft.

If you don't want to do the job properly with ceramic tiles, I suggest you look at at a showerwall product by the name of Fibo, which was formerly called Respatex.

They do both flat panels, and a large tile effect. Tongue & grooved, but care must be taken - as with all these products.
