The builder has just tiled my 70m2 new kitchen and the tiles are out of square. Quite amateur! How common is this? What are my options?
Any advice welcomed.

Re: 70m2 floor tiles - out of square
Is it the actual tiles which are out of square, or is the tiling out of square to the walls? If they are out of square to the walls, is that true for each wall?
One day it will all be firewood.

Is this a visual thing or a measurement? All floor tiles should be 'sighted' correctly from the main view point in the room. I recall when I did my utility I spent ages laying the tiles on the central line in the room and just checked the look. The tendency for amateurs is to tile from one wall rather than from the centre line out as this will give more tile cuts. If the wall is out the tiles are on the squiff.
If you cannot live with it the tiles will have to come up and be relaid although this is a huge task with 70m of tiles. If he has just finished then there is a good chance the adhesive has not quite gone off so you can lift the tiles, scrape the floor and relay. Easier said than done though.
It must be disappointing for you, good luck sorting it out

Re: 70m2 floor tiles - out of square
Is this a domestic kitchen or at 70m2 commercial? if it the latter then all the kitchens I have been in with all the equipment and workstations there isn't many floor tiles showing, just curious.
