Peugeot 207 Fuel Accumulator

Post by russelltho »

I have a 2007 Peugeot 207 1.6 Hdi, and I'm doing a rocker cover gasket on it. I have my trusty Haynes manual which has been brilliant, but it says (https://www.dropbox.com/s/oaqxzt6x3t9pb ... 3.jpg?dl=0) to remove the high pressure fuel pipes from the common rail (ie accumulator). Now from what I can tell then is at the back of the engine underneath the air filter housing.

The illustrations just show the removal of the unions at the injector end.

Any ideas how I might get anywhere near it to disconnect the fuel pipes??

You shouldn't need to touch the fuel system iirc all the cam cover bolts should be accessible

Hi Bob, the high pressure fuel lines that come over the top of the rocker cover to the injectors need removing to allow the cover to be removed.

Don't know if I said it was a diesel (if that makes it different to a petrol engine!)
