It's not cutting , just smashing, the bath trim is quite flimsy

try backing the trim with wood or mdf to give it support both on the base and back :wink:

can you slow the saw down aswell? or has it not got a speed control on it

Big-All, once again thanks

I backed the trim with a piece of mdf I had and cut through both and it done the trick, not sure why I don't think of these things?

Fin- yeah I can slow the saw down and I didn't think of that either ::b but the jobs done now
