Wouldn't think so. When yuo come to the forums, do you do this via a favorite link or do ytou click a link in a email advising you there has been a response? (should be irrelevent, but have to find that pattern!)
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Odd - I get this sort of message and just click on the link to get into the forum.

"Hello,

You are receiving this email because you are watching the topic, "keeps logging me out!!!!!" at www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk. This topic has received a reply since your last visit. You can use the following link to view the replies made, no more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.

If you no longer wish to watch this topic you can either click the "Stop watching this topic link" found at the bottom of the topic above, or by clicking the following link:

viewtopic.php?t=4275&unwatch=topic"

I am beginning to think it is a browser security thing.
The links within a thread - what happens when you click on those?

Could you also try downloading another browser and see what happens using that one

AOL is a pig of a setup and would not surprise me if it is all down to that! (and I am not joking!!)
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
