Having just spent ages laying a Firestone rubber roof and not getting a particularly good result, I just thought I'd put a heads up in here.

If you lay whilst the glue is wet it slides around as bad as ice when you stand on it, if you lay when tacky it is really difficult to get it right first time. Furthermore the edges should be stuck down with contact adhesive, this has to be tacky or the rubber expands nightmarishly if it is wet - it still swells and bubbles a little when stuck down with dry/tacky glue. Extremely hard to get right.

Wish I had gone for polymer reinforced render.

Cheers for that. Looking at their videos it looks as easy as laying out a rug
