

The beam on the Dewalt 7023 is about 1.7 metres long and can be extended to 3.6 metres by extending the work stops.

Here you can see a 3.6m length of 8 inch * 2 inch timber, which is easily supported by one of the extending work stops/supports-

As well as being able to support all Dewalt mitre saws it can also be used for other machines such as an bench grinder, metal cutting chop saw or pillar drill (with some modifications) using the Dewalt 7025 brackets.

When not in use the Dewalt 7023 can easily be stored on a flat wall or on the side of a storage cupboard by making a simple bracket from a piece of unistrut

At about £150 it is not the cheapest mitre saw stand available, but it is definitely one of the best!
