Actually, that is a good point made by SE on using Google maps. It does most of what you want for speed, my Google Earth takes ages to boot.

You aren't using the web-based google earth, are you? I think you may be, menus on the left and the controls in the bottom right https://g.co/earth/beta
on the left click the 3 horizontal bars, then click search
ok just gone on my old laptop it says google earth pro 16/3/2019 7.3.2.5776 what ever that means lol

It means the programme you are using, when it was released, and the build number.
You can figure it from that yourself (If you really want to know)
However build number does need slight explanation.
The first one of something is called 1, the next is called 2, you get the idea, but often, only a slight change is made, so that is where the numbers after the . come in, in theory if another small change is made the next number should be 7.3.2.5777
It may have only been a small change, but when you have a big programme a small change could screw it all up, so you need to keep track of when it was changed so if there is an error you know when it was done.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.
