T is usually timed. BUT which fan do you have 12v or 240v and do the instructions say more about T?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Vent axia svara fan
Have 240 volts
Old fan had 3 lines going into L-N-LS for the timed 5min turn off
This new one I’ve connected L-N-and LS into T
Just running continuously and have to adjust fan speed through App

Try disconnecting the cable from the L terminal (make it safe as its mains voltage) and move the cable from the T terminal to the L terminal.

"T" is for Timed, this needs a permanent live. (The timer needs power)
"L" is for the Switched live.
"N" is Neutral.
Quite why you need a bluetooth fan is beyond me though.
