Check anyway, I've got 2 laptops, newer one with W 8.1 is the one with the issue, older laptop W7 no compatibility issues..dewaltdisney wrote:Billy told me that I would get a free upgrade to 10 when I was wittering on about 8.1 when buying a new laptop recently. I saw that icon yesterday on my new laptop and it registered okay. I guess that as my lappy is new it complies with the Windows 10 requirements?

Click on the windows icon, in the pop-up box top left are 3 horizontal lines, click on that then "check your PC" if it's there..thescruff wrote:So what did you use to do the compatibility test
